ModalPopup Flicker

This flicker at postback can be avoided by

div id="divProgress" runat="server" style="display: none"

asp:Panel runat="server" ID="pnUpdateProgress" Width="400px" BackColor="Gainsboro"
Height="100px"

and making divProgress display:block during the display of modalpopup
